๐ Agreement
These terms cover your use of Shubhzo, an app published by MyAppsCart. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Shubhzo is a marketplace. We connect people planning events with the businesses that serve them, hold a small refundable token while a request is pending, and handle the money. We do not ourselves provide catering, venues, photography or any other event service, and the contract for the work is between you and the vendor.
๐ค Your account
- You must be 18 or older, and the details you give must be accurate.
- One account belongs to one role. A customer account and a vendor account are separate, even on the same phone number.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
- We may suspend an account that is being used to defraud, harass, or work around the rules below.
๐๏ธ The token, and when it comes back
A booking request carries a small token payment, set per service and shown before you pay โ currently between โน101 and โน1,001. It is not a deposit against the price; it is what makes a request cost something on both sides.
| What happens | The token |
|---|---|
| The vendor accepts within 24 hours | Held, and credited against your final bill. |
| The vendor declines | Refunded to your Shubhzo wallet immediately. |
| Nobody responds within 24 hours | The request expires automatically and the token is refunded to your wallet. Both sides are notified. |
| The payment fails or you cancel it | No booking is created and nothing is charged. |
| You cancel after the vendor accepted | Governed by that vendor's published cancellation policy, which is shown on their profile before you book. |
๐ณ Prices, quotes and payments
- Prices shown on a vendor's profile are starting prices set by that vendor. The binding number is the quote they send you.
- A quote itemises the work, any discount, applicable taxes, and credits your token off the total. Accepting it creates the obligation to pay the balance.
- Taxes are charged as the law requires and shown on the quote and receipt.
- Refunds, where due, go to your Shubhzo wallet or to the original payment method, and we will say which.
๐ช If you are a vendor
- Your listings, prices, photos and policies must be accurate and yours to publish. Passing off someone else's work as your own is grounds for removal.
- You must complete KYC before you can be paid, and keep any licences and insurance you claim to hold valid.
- Commission is charged on what the customer paid, at the rate of your current plan โ currently 10% on Starter, 8% on Growth and 6% on Pro. TDS is deducted at the rate the law requires and deposited on your behalf. Both appear on every settlement, with an invoice.
- Settlements are paid to your verified account after the customer confirms the service was delivered, on the payout cycle shown in your Earnings tab.
- Accepting a booking is a commitment to a date. Repeatedly cancelling accepted bookings affects your reputation score, your search visibility, and may end your access.
- You may not ask a customer to pay you outside Shubhzo for a booking made on it, or use a request to obtain contact details for unrelated marketing.
๐ซ What you may not do
- Create bookings you do not intend to honour, on either side.
- Post false reviews, or offer anything in exchange for one.
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone you meet through the app.
- Attempt to obtain another user's contact details before a booking is confirmed, or to work around masking.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service or its security.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use.
โ๏ธ Disputes
If something goes wrong with a booking, raise a dispute in the app rather than settling it over the phone: it creates a record both sides and we can see, with an evidence list and a thread. We will try to help reach a fair outcome, and we may hold a settlement while a dispute is open.
We are not, however, a party to your contract with the other side, and we cannot guarantee the quality of work performed by a vendor or the conduct of a customer.
๐ก๏ธ Liability
We provide the app with reasonable care but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for anything arising out of your use of Shubhzo is limited to the fees we earned on the booking concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
โ๏ธ Changes, and ending
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. You can stop using Shubhzo at any time and delete your account. We may end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and will say why where we can.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
