✅ Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using KidsNova ("the app"), published by MyAppsCart, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
KidsNova is intended for young children, so these Terms are an agreement with the parent or legal guardian who installs the app and supervises its use. By installing it, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of the child who will use it.
🎓 What KidsNova Is
KidsNova is a free, offline educational app for children aged roughly 3–8. It offers six learning worlds, mini-games, a daily adventure, a reward system and a parent dashboard.
💸 Licence & Cost
KidsNova is provided free of charge, with no advertising and no in-app purchases. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial family use.
🚫 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works from the app.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or republish the app or its content — including its artwork, lesson content, sounds and fonts.
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
👨👩👧 Parental Responsibility
A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising a child's use of the app, for setting an appropriate daily time goal, and for deciding whether to enable the optional microphone feature. The parent gate and PIN are convenience features to keep a young child out of adult settings; they are not a security or safety guarantee, and they do not replace adult supervision.
🔒 Privacy
KidsNova collects no personal information and works entirely offline. All profile and progress data stays on your device. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
💾 Your Data & Backups
Because KidsNova stores everything locally and has no cloud service, you are responsible for your device. Uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, resetting the device, or losing the device will permanently erase all profiles and progress. We cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.
©️ Intellectual Property
The app, its source code, the KidsNova name and logo, the Novi mascot, all lesson content, artwork, and sound design are owned by MyAppsCart and protected by copyright and trademark law. Third-party open-source components remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own licences.
⚠️ Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, or that its educational content will produce any particular learning outcome.
⚖️ Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyAppsCart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or progress, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Since the app is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability is limited to zero, or to the minimum permitted by applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
🔁 Updates & Availability
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, and we may discontinue the app at any time. Updates are delivered through Google Play under its terms. Continuing to use the app after an update constitutes acceptance of these Terms as they then stand.
🛑 Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, you must stop using and delete the app; the sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive.
🌍 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
