KidsNova – Delete Your Data

ℹ️ First, the important part

KidsNova has no user accounts and no servers. We never receive your child's name, age, or progress — all of it is stored only in the app's private storage on your own device.

There is no online account to close and no remote data for us to delete, because we never had a copy in the first place. Deleting on your device is deletion, full stop.

👤 Delete a single child profile

Use this when you want to remove one child but keep the others:

Open KidsNova.
Tap the parent icon in the top-right of the home screen.
Pass the parent gate (your 4-digit PIN, or the multiplication question).
Go to Settings → Profiles.
Select the child, then choose Delete profile and confirm.

That child's name, age, avatar and all of their progress are removed from the device immediately.

♻️ Erase everything from inside the app

To wipe all profiles, progress and settings while keeping the app installed:

Open KidsNova and enter the Parent Zone.
Go to Settings.
Choose Reset all data and confirm.

The app returns to a fresh state, exactly as after a first install.

📱 Erase everything from Android settings

This works even if you've forgotten the parent PIN:

Open Android Settings.
Go to Apps (or "Apps & notifications") → KidsNova.
Tap Storage & cache.
Tap Clear storage (sometimes "Clear data") and confirm.

Clearing storage erases every profile, all progress and the parent PIN. This cannot be undone and we cannot recover it.

🚮 Uninstall the app

Uninstalling KidsNova removes the app together with all of its local data:

Press and hold the KidsNova icon on your home screen or app drawer.
Choose Uninstall and confirm.

Alternatively, uninstall from the Google Play Store, or from Android → Settings → Apps → KidsNova → Uninstall.

📋 What gets deleted

Any of the methods above removes all of the following from your device:

Child profiles — first name or nickname, age, and avatar.
Learning progress — completed lessons, stars, XP, coins and streaks.
Parent settings — daily goal, sound, voice and language preferences.
The parent PIN.
Any scheduled daily reminder.

Nothing about your child is retained anywhere else, because nothing was ever sent anywhere else.
