Classic Chess is a standard game against the AI at your chosen level. Story Mode is a 6-chapter campaign with 23 NPC battles and bosses. Puzzles are short mate-in-N problems. Arena is an offline knockout tournament. Survival throws asymmetric scenarios at you. Learn Chess is an 8-lesson academy with quizzes.

The AI has 1000 levels. Search depth, blunder chance, and aggression are all tuned together as you go up, so the AI improves the way a human would — not just by searching deeper. Use the level slider on the Classic Chess setup screen to pick your challenge.

Make sure you're signed into the same Google or Play Games account on both devices. Signing in restores your cloud save automatically — this replaces (not merges with) whatever local progress the new device had, the same way most mobile games handle cloud-save linking. If it still doesn't appear, try Settings → Account → Sign out, then sign back in.

Go to Settings → Premium → Remove Ads to subscribe monthly or yearly via Google Play Billing. This removes banner, interstitial, native, and app-open ads. Rewarded ads (the optional "watch for a bonus" kind) stay available even as a subscriber, since they're opt-in.

Go to Settings → Premium and tap "Restore purchases." This re-syncs your subscription from Google Play — it works on any device signed into the same Google Play Store account you purchased with, regardless of your Guest/Google/Play Games sign-in choice in ChessVerse itself.

A coupon code unlocks everything at once and is redeemed from Settings → Redeem Coupon Code. You need to be signed in with Google or Play Games first (Guests are prompted to sign in), since each code is single-use and tied to your account the moment it's claimed.

Ad availability depends on your location and network connection. If you're on a slow or restricted network, ads may not load — this is normal. Try again on a different network or check back later. Gameplay itself never requires an ad to load.

Try: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Restart your device. (3) Uninstall and reinstall from Google Play — your progress is safe if you're signed in with Google/Play Games, since it's backed up to the cloud. If the problem continues, email us with your device model, Android version, and a description of what happened.

ChessVerse is currently Android-only. An iOS version may be considered in the future.
