Overview
ChessVerse ("the App") is published by MyAppsCart (operated by Kirosys). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it. By using the App, you agree to the terms described here.
ChessVerse is designed to be safe for players of every age: there is no chat, no user-generated content, and no player-to-player communication of any kind — only chess against the AI, the story campaign, puzzles, and a shared leaderboard.
Play as Guest — nothing leaves your device
If you choose Guest at the sign-in screen, the App never creates an account and never contacts our servers. Progress (coins, gems, unlocked levels, puzzle history, settings) is stored only in the app's private storage on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.

We never see your Google account password — sign-in is handled entirely by Google's/Play Games' own sign-in flow.
Automatically collected
- Advertising identifiers — Google AdMob may collect an advertising ID and device/usage data to select and measure ads. Because ChessVerse may be played by children as well as adults, every ad request is marked child-directed and only non-personalized, general-audience ads are served — to every player, regardless of age.
- Purchase status — if you buy the optional "Remove Ads" subscription, Google Play Billing tells us only whether the purchase succeeded. We never see your payment details.
Information we do NOT collect
- Payment or card details — Google Play Billing handles all payments directly
- Precise location data
- Contacts, camera, microphone, or file access
- Any chat messages or player-to-player communication — there is none in the App
Redeeming a Coupon Code
Settings → Redeem Coupon Code links a single-use code to your signed-in account ID so it can't be reused by someone else. The code text itself is not personal data, and redemption requires you to be signed in with Google or Play Games first (Guests are prompted to sign in).
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account, if you choose to sign in
- To back up and restore your coins, gems, unlocks, and progress across devices
- To display your name/photo on the public leaderboard (you can change your display name anytime)
- To show non-personalized, family-safe ads via Google AdMob
- To unlock the "Remove Ads" subscription or a redeemed coupon code
- To respond to support requests
Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Firebase Authentication & Cloud Firestore (Google) — sign-in, cloud save, leaderboard
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication
- Google Play Games Services — optional authentication
- Google AdMob — advertising (banner, interstitial, rewarded), always non-personalized
- Google Play Billing — the optional Remove Ads subscription
We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.
Children's Privacy
ChessVerse is a mixed-audience app that may be played by both children and adults. There is no chat, no user-generated content, and no player-to-player contact of any kind. As described above, every ad shown in the App is treated as child-directed and non-personalized, for every player, regardless of age, since the App has no age-verification step.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has an account with personal data (from Google/Play Games sign-in) that you'd like removed, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.
Your Choices
- Play as Guest to avoid creating any account or sending any data off your device
- Sign out / switch accounts anytime from Settings → Account
- Restore purchases and manage/cancel your subscription anytime through the Google Play Store app (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions)
- Opt out of personalized advertising — not applicable here, since the App never requests personalized ads for anyone
Data Retention & Deletion
Cloud data (your leaderboard row and save backup) is kept for as long as your account exists, so we can restore your progress on a new device. To request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data, email us at support@myappscart.com with the subject "Delete ChessVerse Account" and the email/profile you signed in with. We will process your request within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the latest revision was made. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
