HisabNova — Terms of Service

The agreement between you and MyAppsCart for using the app. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

📅  Last updated: 12 September 2026  ·  Applies to HisabNova for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows.

1 · Accepting these terms

By installing or using HisabNova ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is published by MyAppsCart ("we", "us").

If you use the app on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.

2 · What the app is — and is not

HisabNova is a record-keeping and calculation tool. It helps you raise bills, track stock, keep a customer ledger, and prepare figures for a GST return.

It is not a substitute for professional advice. We are not your accountant, your tax agent or your lawyer. The app computes what you tell it to compute; whether a rate, an HSN code, a place of supply or a filing position is correct for your business remains your responsibility and your accountant's. Nothing in the app, including anything the AI assistant says, is a tax ruling.

The app prepares returns and e-invoice payloads; it does not file them. Uploading anything to a government portal, and the accuracy of what you upload, is yours.

3 · Your data and your account

4 · Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of this section.

5 · Plans, payment and renewal

When a subscription ends

Your books stay readable. An expired subscription puts the app into a read-only state: you can open every record, run the core summary, and export or back up everything. What you cannot do is add new records until you renew. Data portability is never gated on any plan or in any state.

Refunds

If something we sold you does not work as described, write to us within 7 days of the charge and we will put it right or refund that period. Refunds for change of mind on a period already used are at our discretion. Where an app store handles the purchase, that store's refund policy also applies.

6 · Availability and changes

Core billing is designed to work offline, so it does not depend on us being up. Cloud features (sign-in, cloud backup, AI, payments) depend on third-party services and may be unavailable from time to time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of those.

We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you depend on, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.

7 · Third-party services

Some features rely on services we do not control — Google Firebase (authentication, cloud storage, messaging, AI), Razorpay (payments), your device's speech-recognition service, and your app store. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider's terms. See the privacy policy for what each one receives.

8 · Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data — including tax penalties, interest or assessments arising from figures you filed. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer rights under Indian law.

9 · Intellectual property

The app, its name, its icon and its design remain ours. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your business, for as long as you comply with these terms. Documents and reports the app produces for you are yours.

10 · Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by uninstalling the app. See the deletion page for removing cloud data and any account. We may end access if you breach these terms materially. Sections 3, 8 and 9 survive termination.

11 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any right you have to bring a claim in your local consumer forum.

12 · Changes to these terms

We will update this page and its date if these terms change. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially reduces what you get, we will tell you in the app before it applies.
